Decorating Your Child’s Birthday Cake

Are you throwing a Birthday Party for your child? I know you want it to be extra special and your time is precious, so please read on.

If your child has a specific birthday theme in mind, finding the right cake decorations can be difficult. So before you head out to your local crafts store, check online.

It’s easier to find what you want on eBay, Amazon or CakeTrimmings, just be sure to order early. And don’t forget to check thier shipping charges. Some websites have shipping costs that are way over priced so you’ll want to avoid those.

If you still want to look around your local area, don’t go to the typical stores like Wal-Mart. They don’t have much to choose from, especially if your theme isn’t very popular. Instead, look in the craft stores and party supply stores. You might be able to find your cake decorations there. But if you can’t, maybe they can order them for you, or go home and get online and order them yourself!

A Simple Centerpiece for a Small Table

A centerpiece finishes of a table, whether you’re sitting down for a normal evening meal, or having a formal dinner. Unfortunately, most of us don’t have large tables, so how can you create an effective centerpiece of flowers and candles which doesn’t take up much room? It’s ok if you want to have a single rose in a vase, but the combination of candles and flowers is the spark of romance ; don’t worry it’s possible even in the smallest of spaces.

Visit your local dollar store and buy a bag of seashells or glass gems, perhaps a mirror tile or even a vase, you may be surprised what you can find at very low cost. These will all prove useful.

One of the msot effective, vertical candle centerpieces is a stacking set of apothecary jars. Fill each one half way with water and aqua gems, hide a different colored floralyte in each one and float a flower on the water. Stack them, add the lid, and place two flickering votive candles on either side, for an original and very effective but small floral design.

Every other month, my family and extended family will gather either at my home of somewhere, and the next round at my home will be the next month. I need to plan what to cook now for them, should it be Mediterranean style or Mexican or Italian….

Well, little did I realize that my very kitchen has started to break down. The Kitchen cabinet especially is showing signs of deterioriation. If I don’t fix it now, I would likely not able to meet up to the demand for the big gathering next month, not to mention the daily meal preparation.

Just how bad is my kitchen now? I scour the internet for various websites on Kitchen refacing, cabinet maintenance and even complete remodeling. I found this website on Kitchen Wall Cabinet and specifically on how to determine that my cabinets are really deteriorating. Using the tips discussed, I am embarking on my checks of my cabinets and get the strong men in my house to fix it. Do check it out.
