Radiation Levels Higher in Milk in California

It’s been 3 weeks now since the earthquake in Japan and the nuclear mess that is still going on. I feel for the people of Japan as they are right up in the action and it must be very difficult for them.
Still, it’s important to realize this is a global issue. Our food is one of the things that has been impacted and while we may not be in great immediate danger – it’s important to be aware that it’s getting worse in other places than just Japan.
They’re downlpalying radiation levels here in California but it is appearing in higher levels in milk and other places too. They never say how MUCH it is
ELEVATED – they just say things like you get more radiation from a
bannana or an xray.
I wish someone would just tell us what is happening exactly and
specifically. I’m not saying we should freak out but radiation is UP
and that just can’t be good.

While I am glad it made the news – I do not like the way they are sugar coating it and trying to downplay the danger now and down the road if that nuclear issue is not solved in Japan.
